“No Days Off” by Dr.J.

“Everything was going so smoothly. I mean things were perfect and then all of a sudden, all hell broke loose.”

That’s an issue. If we don’t recognize that there is always an invisible spiritual battle, we will be caught off guard when the attack manifests. You may “think” things are smooth and perfect but the enemy is always prowling around, plotting and scheming…always. What is “all of sudden” to you was being planned “all along” by the devil. We can’t afford to be deceived. We have to pray without ceasing. We have to say daily confessions. We have to read and study God’s Word daily. No days off believers because the devil doesn’t take vacations. Dr.J.

“Tragedy as a Trajectory for the Devil’s Agenda” by Dr.J.

Are we pushing Satan’s agenda in our response to tragic events? Are we spiritually conscious of the devil’s devices? Can tragic events be used as distractions? Which flag will we raise, which color will we post, which memes will we use to saturate timelines? Who are the fence straddlers? Who are the lukewarm believers? Where are the false prophet and teachers who will capitalize on tragedy to push their agenda, which is synonymous with the devil’s.

Observe. When tragedy is heightened, all these things are made manifest. God is showing you some things. Will you open your eyes? Keep the veils off and observe in your spirit. Satan’s tricks are subtle but blatant nonetheless. It is very difficult to discern in your flesh. Pray and observe before you choose a position on situations that are unfolding during these end times. Pray and ask for the gift of the sons of Issachar – to be able to understand the signs of the time. Watch how believers get in a frenzy from tragedy to tragedy. Observe how we won’t take a stand for Jesus. Pray about how “love prevails,” even when we cause what we “love” to supersede what God’s Word says and to reject everything God stands for – light. Just be quiet and pray and observe. Or has the enemy already distracted you with his sneaky subtleties? Dr.J.

“It is Time to Wake Up!” by Dr.J.

I don’t think I understood the spiritual realm until the last five years of my life. God has shown me some things that will scare the living daylights out of your flesh-I mean something awful.

There is a war going on in the heavens. I can literally sense in my spirit that demons and spirits are trying to come for me and angels are fighting them off.

Even while we physically sleep, God is protecting us from attacks. But believers, we don’t have time to be spiritually asleep. It’s time to wake up believers. There is a battle that you have to fight in too. Don’t leave your house, your car, your children without covering yourself and then. My son, my home, my car, and my office are so anointed. When the devil comes in my office raising hell, he leaves with his tail tucked and I haven’t said a word. Why? Because my office, my home, my son, and all my possessions are covered by the blood of Jesus.

Stop leaving yourself uncovered. Stop leaving yourself naked. Start consciously and spiritually participating in the battle. There is a realm that you can’t see but the closer you get to God He will open your eyes. Dr.J.

“The  Spiritual Realm” by Dr.J.

Remember there is a spiritual realm. In that realm, God is always working. You’re getting weary and frustrated about what you can’t see God doing in the natural realm in which you operate. God is always working. He even has angels dispersed in the heavenly realm to protect you from demonic forces and to get messages to you.

You have to have the confidence and faith that God is working. When God wants to manifest His work, He will. Meanwhile, do not grow weary. Trust God and believe there is “behind the scenes work” going on. Dear God, open the eyes of your servants so that they may be able to see You at work. Dr.J.

“Occult Practices and Biblical Principles Don’t Mix” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 24

When you have a spirit of doubt and you lack faith in God, you give the enemy a foothold to be able to penetrate your heart. Then, he intensifies your natural sense of curiosity which causes you to seek out answers on your own. God isn’t moving quickly enough. God hasn’t healed you yet. God hasn’t restored your marriage yet. God hasn’t healed your finances yet. So your doubting spirit and curious spirit collide. You find yourself seeking answers in places other than the Word of God, in evil and demonic places.

1 Timothy 4:1 (NIV) “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

Your faith is weak so your obedience is too. You don’t see anything wrong with having a little fun dabbling into the occult through movies, games, books, horoscope reading, crystal balls, and other mediums. But what does the Word of God say?

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 (NIV)”When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.”

When you think about it spiritually, when you look outside of the realm of God for answers, you have a desire to “see” into things. But faith is the evidence of things “not seen.” Please don’t play around with an entity so evil – the occult – it will have you spiritually and physically oppressed and physically sick and you can’t come out of it without a strong deliverance ministry.

Our faith is too serious to adulterate with even bits and pieces of the demonic realm. Don’t even mix practices from other religions- a little bit of Buddhism (Yoga) with a little bit of Christianity (Prayer). The enemy is slick and subtle. Stay away from accursed things. God is God all by Himself.

We’re consecrating ourselves now and there is no turning back. Keep fasting. Dr.J.

“What You See is Not What You Get!” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 23

spiritual realm

Some of us lose faith because we look at our situations and circumstances with natural eyes. You have to have blind faith. Not blind in the sense that you are dull regarding the things of God and that you ignorantly follow Him. Blind in the sense that even though you can’t see God working out your situation, controlling your situation,  resolving your situation or involved in your situation, you believe that He is any way. Your faith is so strong that even if you lose your job or get demoted or lose the love of your life or you have yet to see the answers to your prayers or your bank account says insufficient funds, you still have confidence in what you hope for and assurance about what you do not see. God is working in the supernatural realm.

Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV) “For we live by faith, not by sight.”

We began to get shaky in our faith when we take our eyes off of God and look at our situations. Ask Peter. Peter, in bold faith, got out of the boat to begin walking on water toward Jesus. The moment he took his eyes off Jesus and looked at the situation under his feet, he began to sink. If believers would truly understand that all your situations and circumstances are under your feet, you would see that you have power of your circumstances through Christ Jesus. If you look down, don’t sink, but think of the power you have to tread on scorpions and serpents and nothing shall harm you. When you look down, don’t sink but know that Jesus has help and protection all around you in the spiritual realm.

If we lived by what we see, we would be a spiritual mess. Live by faith. Read the Word of God for reassurance. Pray for your faith to increase. Ask Jesus to help your unbelief. Ask Jesus to open your spiritual eyes. Don’t believe based on what you see in the natural, but believe because God’s Word is true. Believe because of the God you serve. Believe because you know that there is a spiritual realm in which God is working. God has more for you in the spiritual realm than the devil has assigned against you. Dr.J.

“We Have Hinds’ Feet!” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 17

This season we’re going to higher levels spiritually, a level in Christ we’ve never experienced before. We will be able to tread on serpents and scorpions with power and authority. We have power over wickedness in high places because God is setting our feet in high places.

Through the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to operate in the spiritual realm. We can discern spiritual battles. We can fight back using spiritual weapons.

Although the flesh is being attacked by what is seemingly “flesh” we see past flesh all the way to the spirit of the person and we renounce the spirits coming against us in Jesus’s name. We have to travel “lightly” to move upwardly. So we’ve cast off of us the spirits of fear, lust, pride, and the like because we can’t tread higher carrying heavy weights of sin. Come on, let’s go up a little higher. Dr.J.

Psalms‬ ‭18:33‬ ‭(KJV) “He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.”
