“What Are You Thinking?” by Dr.J.

It is a constant fight. Cast down every thought that comes from hell. Do not let your mind linger on thoughts from the devil. For a long time, I obviously believed that I didn’t have control over my mind. I would say, “I can’t help it. I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m going to lose my mind.” Have you ever thought that or said that? That’s a lie from hell. God says to “cast down imaginations” and that means that we have the power to throw out thoughts, arguments, philosophies and all lies that contradict the truth. God’s Word is the truth. That’s what I have to think about. It’s a moment by moment process. Don’t just accept crazy, perverse, corrupt, or disobedient thoughts. Question how the thought was able to get in there? What are you watching and hearing and doing? It impacts your thoughts. Guard your heart and your mind; they work together for the good or the devil. Dr.J.

“The Other Woman or Other Man is Killing You” by DrJené Walker

Proverbs 6:27-29 “Can a man scoop a flame into his lap and not have his clothes catch on fire? Can he walk on hot coals and not blister his feet? So it is with the man who sleeps with another man’s wife. He who embraces her will not go unpunished.”

The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. So if any of us commit adultery with someone else’s spouse, we are being used by Satan to accomplish his plan – kill, steal, and destroy the institution of marriage that God established. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow but it’s better for us to swallow it now than for us to perish forever. Adultery is a form of sexual immorality and the sexually immoral won’t go unpunished and even worse, we won’t make it into heaven if we don’t repent and run away from it now. We have to come out of adultery and sexually immoral and sinful situations right now in Jesus’s name before it’s too late. What causes the fight within us to hold on to someone that belongs to someone else? What causes us to feel empowered because someone who belongs someone else has been tricked by the devil into being with us? The evil spirits of covetousness, lust, adultery, and sexual immorality- that’s what. I know it’s hard to leave because strongholds and soul ties are real but the alternative is more real – to burn forever ever in hell. I prefer the former. No person is worth my salvation. Come out now! Jené Elaine Walker

“Lay Holy Hands on Your Child(ren)!” by Dr.J.

Did you lay holy hands on your child(ren) this morning? When they leave the safety and protection of our home, we send them out into a world of darkness. Dark systems. Dark situations. Dark people. Did you pray a strategic prayer of protection? Favor? Spiritual awareness? Even your youngest needs to understand that there is spiritual activity.

Don’t let them leave your sight without your holy hands upon them. The enemy wants to take our children out. He can’t have them! Dr.J.

“All In or All Out” by Dr.J.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (NKJV)The Great Apostasy: “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin[b] is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[c] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”

The great falling away (defection, apostasy, apostate, forsaking) is a time when people (including those who ARE SAVED) will “fall away” or forsake their belief in the truth (Jesus Christ). They will be deceived by the Antichrist. They will worship him when he shows himself as God.

Who will those people be who fall away and how can we make sure it isn’t us? Some of us are being deceived right now. I was almost seduced by the current events in politics and what is happening with the election that I almost participated in it. I was vexed in my spirit about my involvement and straddling the fence. But God sent me three people to confirm that I should have nothing to do with it. Whew Jesus! That was a close call. I almost had blood on my hands. It’s easy to be deceived. If it were possible, the very elect would be deceived.

We can’t afford any close calls this season people of God. We are either hot or cold. There are some things people of God can’t touch or go near. We have to be firm in what we believe or we will be in the group that falls away- and to fall away is to live an eternal death in hell. Jesus! Help us! Dr.J.

“Heart Check” by Dr.J.

So when they stared at you and gossiped about you, you made subliminal or blatant remarks about them in social media? When they talked down to you and treated you like you were less than a man, you cussed them out? See, how we respond to the vessels (people) being used by the devil to come against us shows where WE are spiritually. We ALL have room to grow, don’t we? We will take matters into our own hands and mouths in a heartbeat, won’t we? So we aren’t that different from our attackers, are we? No- not if we don’t let God handle them for us. It’s hard in the flesh- I KNOW. But there are so many Psalms to pray to help us through our attacks. Let God handle His people. There isn’t any need for ALL of us to get in trouble for being under demonic influence. The battle is spiritual. Never repay evil for evil. Romans Chapter 12 helps me tremendously. Attacks are good! They show US where WE need to grow and improve spiritually. The true test is to love our attackers. Where do we stand in love? Dr.J.

“Dr.J. Chats About Her New Book” Interview by Crystal Flanagan

An excerpt from the Interview

The decision to give one’s life to Christ is one that is exhilarating, joyful and full of hope with the desire to embrace and serve God on a higher dimension. However, with the acceptance of the Christian faith comes many challenges and attacks from the Enemy not only within the natural but spiritual realm as well. In her new book, Dr. Jené Elaine Walker discusses how readers can better equip themselves against the Enemy’s attacks in, Meditations for a Surrendered Life: Winning Daily Spiritual Battles against the Enemy.
CF: At what point did you realize and accept God’s assignment to write your new book, Meditations for a Surrendered Life: Winning Daily Spiritual Battles against the Enemy?

JW: Both the realization and the acceptance of God’s assignment to write my new book manifested gradually. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I have been ministering through social media for at least the last three years and became a licensed minister as of January of 2016. As a result, God’s people have been blessed by the Word God has given me. God used so many of my “friends” in social media to plant the seed about my writing the book. One Facebook friend suggested that I would write a book, a manual of sorts, for ministers. Others weren’t as specific as they encouraged me saying, “I can’t wait to read your book” or “I wish I could go back and review your posts because they really bless me.” Then finally, approximately two years ago, a woman with whom I’m now really close called me after 10:00 pm. I answered, somewhat perplexed about why she was calling so late. When I answered, she said, “I just want to be obedient to the Holy Spirit’s leading.” She said, “I believe you have some books God is going to birth in you.” Well, then I was fully alert and she had my attention. She continued, “God gave me a vision of you. You were seated at a table and there was a line wrapped around a huge building. People were waiting for you to autograph their book.” When she said that, I leaped out of my bed and immediately began praising God.

Although several others had planted seeds before her about my book, it was that prophetic word from this lady that caused me to accept and actually complete God’s assignment to write this book. Through total surrender of my life to God and walking in obedience to His instructions, I was able to hear God more clearly when He would speak to me. Through total surrender to God, I was able to relinquish any preconceived fleshly thoughts I had about the book and how the book was to be organized. God later revealed that for my first book, I would compile my writings and quotes and organize them into themes or categories of meditations that will help His people during their moment by moment struggles each day.

CF: You discuss the importance of being equipped to fight the spiritual battle? How important is it for Christians to be in communion with Christ on a daily basis?

JW: Chapter 3 is entitled, “Communion with God.” Communion in this chapter refers to “our” daily communication with Him, our desire for Him to be with us, and our obedience to His promptings through the Holy Spirit. When you are in communion with God, you are able to hear the Holy Spirit when He gives you instructions because you read God’s Word daily.” Reading God’s Word daily builds spiritual capacity for God to speak to us through His Word. I have received the answers to many of my questions about life, love, relationships, and next steps for my life through God’s Word. I have especially learned about spiritual warfare and engaging the Enemy through His Word, which is my defensive weapon. God speaks to me through His Word; He teaches me how to fight using His Word.

In addition to the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, another very important piece of armor for me and I think all believers is prayer in the spirit without ceasing – for yourself and others. Prayer is another means for us to communicate with God. Being still and listening for God’s response after prayer is another opportunity for God to speak to us. I need to hear from God about how He wants me to handle every situation in my life. I’ve already done life my way. Now, I have to hear from God before I move.

I had to stay in God’s Word and pray and fast to be delivered from the spirit of rejection. The spirit was strong and on me since childhood. It caused me to have low self-worth. That is spiritual warfare. That is a spiritual battle. In order to be equipped for battle and to win daily spiritual battles, believers must employ all the spiritual armor of God. Every piece of armor that Paul identifies in Ephesians chapter 6, requires us to be in daily moment-by-moment communion with God.
