“Who Rules the Darkness?” by Dr.J.

Ephesians 6:12 (KJV) “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Against the rulers of the darkness of this world” is worth reflecting upon. Kosmokrator is the Greek term for a “ruler of this world.” Paul reminds us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but there are demonic forces of darkness that literally “spiritually” rule here on earth (between the earth and the moon; the air; atmosphere). We can’t ignore this. We can’t pretend that we don’t understand this. There are demonic forces that have rule on the earth. They have influence. They have control. They have power. There are “people” who have surrendered to the influence of the rulers of the darkness of this world and they are under demonic influence – people in government, law enforcement, education, the media, hospitals, church and every other institution in the world. The rulers of the darkness of this world answer to and are under the direction of Satan. It’s real. We just need to ask God for revelation first so that we can “see” what’s happening. Then we have to ask God to help us to use our weapons to fight the rulers of the darkness spiritually. We can’t win a spiritual war with flesh. God open our hearts, minds, and EYES to receive what you’re showing us in Jesus’s name. Dr.J.

John 8:47 “Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

“Engage the Real Enemy” by Dr.J.

My prayer is that of Elisha. God, open the eyes of your people. Even though there is a physical war; it is a spiritual war. Open our eyes please Jesus.

Paul clearly states in Ephesians chapter 6 that we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We focus so much on “people” and “situations” and “circumstances” that we fail to recognize that there is an invisible battle going on in the spiritual realm. We fail to see the demonic forces behind the injustice. The devil and demonic powers are at work in the world constantly. Demons laugh at flesh fights among humans; principalities smile at rallies for racial and social and political justice; rulers of darkness think that “movements” for rights are hilarious.

What truly changes the heart of a man? If a person is under demonic influence, oppressed by and working for Satan, will a hashtag or movement or a rally or a picket sign tug at his heart strings? His heart has been won by Satan…

At the name of Jesus, powers of the air tremble; they get anxious and uncomfortable. Will we continue to employ carnal weapons that don’t even put a bandage on the ills we’re suffering? Or will prayer warriors, end times warriors, and vigilant soldiers of spiritual warfare “rally” for the deployment of spiritual warfare? If the rally isn’t spiritual, change won’t be permanent. Will we EVER engage the REAL enemy? Dr.J.

“No Days Off” by Dr.J.

“Everything was going so smoothly. I mean things were perfect and then all of a sudden, all hell broke loose.”

That’s an issue. If we don’t recognize that there is always an invisible spiritual battle, we will be caught off guard when the attack manifests. You may “think” things are smooth and perfect but the enemy is always prowling around, plotting and scheming…always. What is “all of sudden” to you was being planned “all along” by the devil. We can’t afford to be deceived. We have to pray without ceasing. We have to say daily confessions. We have to read and study God’s Word daily. No days off believers because the devil doesn’t take vacations. Dr.J.

“What Ever Happened to Walking in Kingdom Power and Authority?” by Dr.J.

What ever happened to walking in this kind of power and authority? The healing, casting out demons deliverance, preaching to those we presume aren’t the elect and them being saved, and raising the dead from the dead kind of power… Oh I know what happened.

1) We’re more ministry focused than mission focused.

2) Our faith has been shaken so much so that we reserve that kind of power and authority to those who walked with Jesus or with a Damascus Road experience.

3) We’ve mistaken the enemy’s limited authority in the air and in the world for authority over believers when he has none.

4) We want the world. We’ve made this place our home. New Jerusalem? What’s that? “Let’s gain this world and lose our souls,” we say with our actions.

5) We just don’t believe it’s possible or true. We are clueless about a third realm even though God elevated us there right next to Jesus.

How about we start to live in such a surreal spiritual surrendered state that the Holy Spirit can speak to us and say, “Lay hands on her legs now,” and fill us with Holy Ghost power to heal.

He can say to us, “Her, over there. She has an impure spirit. Do deliverance work now.” And the power of the Holy Spirit fills us to cast out impure spirits in her. And we will not be afraid when the strongman or ruling spirit speaks to us and says he isn’t leaving [We still have believers who don’t believe in demons with as much deliverance work that Jesus did during his ministry…].

How about when we pass through the stores in the mall, people will rush to the aisles so our shadow might fall on them and heal and bless and deliver them because of the power of the Holy Ghost that fills us. What ever happened to walking in this kind of power and authority? Dr.J.

Acts‬ ‭5:15‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.”

“It is Time to Wake Up!” by Dr.J.

I don’t think I understood the spiritual realm until the last five years of my life. God has shown me some things that will scare the living daylights out of your flesh-I mean something awful.

There is a war going on in the heavens. I can literally sense in my spirit that demons and spirits are trying to come for me and angels are fighting them off.

Even while we physically sleep, God is protecting us from attacks. But believers, we don’t have time to be spiritually asleep. It’s time to wake up believers. There is a battle that you have to fight in too. Don’t leave your house, your car, your children without covering yourself and then. My son, my home, my car, and my office are so anointed. When the devil comes in my office raising hell, he leaves with his tail tucked and I haven’t said a word. Why? Because my office, my home, my son, and all my possessions are covered by the blood of Jesus.

Stop leaving yourself uncovered. Stop leaving yourself naked. Start consciously and spiritually participating in the battle. There is a realm that you can’t see but the closer you get to God He will open your eyes. Dr.J.

“The  Spiritual Realm” by Dr.J.

Remember there is a spiritual realm. In that realm, God is always working. You’re getting weary and frustrated about what you can’t see God doing in the natural realm in which you operate. God is always working. He even has angels dispersed in the heavenly realm to protect you from demonic forces and to get messages to you.

You have to have the confidence and faith that God is working. When God wants to manifest His work, He will. Meanwhile, do not grow weary. Trust God and believe there is “behind the scenes work” going on. Dear God, open the eyes of your servants so that they may be able to see You at work. Dr.J.

“Occult Practices and Biblical Principles Don’t Mix” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 24

When you have a spirit of doubt and you lack faith in God, you give the enemy a foothold to be able to penetrate your heart. Then, he intensifies your natural sense of curiosity which causes you to seek out answers on your own. God isn’t moving quickly enough. God hasn’t healed you yet. God hasn’t restored your marriage yet. God hasn’t healed your finances yet. So your doubting spirit and curious spirit collide. You find yourself seeking answers in places other than the Word of God, in evil and demonic places.

1 Timothy 4:1 (NIV) “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”

Your faith is weak so your obedience is too. You don’t see anything wrong with having a little fun dabbling into the occult through movies, games, books, horoscope reading, crystal balls, and other mediums. But what does the Word of God say?

Deuteronomy 18:9-14 (NIV)”When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you. You must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so.”

When you think about it spiritually, when you look outside of the realm of God for answers, you have a desire to “see” into things. But faith is the evidence of things “not seen.” Please don’t play around with an entity so evil – the occult – it will have you spiritually and physically oppressed and physically sick and you can’t come out of it without a strong deliverance ministry.

Our faith is too serious to adulterate with even bits and pieces of the demonic realm. Don’t even mix practices from other religions- a little bit of Buddhism (Yoga) with a little bit of Christianity (Prayer). The enemy is slick and subtle. Stay away from accursed things. God is God all by Himself.

We’re consecrating ourselves now and there is no turning back. Keep fasting. Dr.J.
