You get to a point at which you’ve plateaued out in the natural. You’ve taken yourself as high as you can go. Your degrees can’t get you any more promotions. Your résumé is bland. Your knowledge pales in comparison to the knowledge of some. The prestige of your alma mater isn’t as prestigious as you’ve financed or are still financing. You’ve plateaued.
Now what? Stop seeking worldly recognition and status. It’s temporary and well…worldly. God can supernaturally promote you higher and more quickly than any “world system” for His kingdom and purpose. Any other self or man made elevation is just temporary and you will plateau.
Stagnant? Plateaued? Check your motives. Check your heart. Check your desires. Check your standard. Check your goal. Check your relationship with the Father. Dr.J.
It’s bigger than you. That shaking, beating, and pressing from the enemy that caused you to shift and move out of your comfort zone, God allowed it for your purpose and for the benefit of the kingdom. Because of your shifting, more people will see God and come to Christ. Because you were made to move, darkness hidden in places will be exposed by your light. Because you were a part of a great scattering, demons will just come out of people because of the power and authority of your presence. Begin to trust God and everything He allows you to go through. It’s bigger than you. Live on purpose. Work for the kingdom. Preach. Heal. Expel darkness. Cast out demons. Dr.J.
Acts 8:4-8 NIV “Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah there. When the crowds heard Philip and saw the signs he performed, they all paid close attention to what he said. For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed. So there was great joy in that city.”
Give God some glory right now! I mean, for what and for whom do you think you were created? You glorify God when you’re obedient to His Word, when you obey His commands. You glorify God in what you say. Monitor your words. Do your word line up with The Word? Do your words acknowledge the attributes of God or a lack of faith? Jesus took John to heaven and gave Him a glimpse of God in all His splendor and glory . While there, John saw four creatures whose role was to repeat over and over and over and over and over
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.”
Every chance you get, what are some sweet words that you can say over and over and over to God to give God glory?
You give God glory when you submit to His majesty. When evil is present on every hand and you choose to be subject to God’s will and not your own, you give God glory. Come on and glorify the Lord with me. He is your creator and for that alone, He deserves the glory. Dr.J.
Isaiah 43:7 “Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
