“Rebuild” by Dr. Jené Walker

God has a way of purging any way. He has a way of allowing things to seem as if they have completely fallen apart so He can show you He is still God. If they left, they probably weren’t meant to be connected with you any way. If it fell apart, God wants to give you something better. My Bishop says, “Nothing is ‘lost’ in the kingdom.” This is restoration season. This is rebuilding season. How much tenacity do you have? How much spiritual muscle to you have? You can’t cry over what you thought you lost. For a believer, to “lose” is to “gain.” Think about a bigger and a better structure. Think about a stronger team. Think about your vision and your mission. Think about what makes you happy. What kind of people do you need around you? Consider what will advance the kingdom of God first this time and rebuild. Yes. Just like that. If you built without the Master Builder, you built in vain. So, this time, allow Him to be the foundation. Allow HIM to chose your team. Allow Him to whisper the blue print. Allow Him to strengthen you. Rebuild. Bigger. Better. Stronger. More Prosperous. But no matter what don’t quit. Rebuild. Now let’s go!

“There is No Competition” by Dr.J.

“How many unbelievers did you reach today? 7? Aw man! I only reached 5. I’m going to one up you tomorrow!” What strategies do you use to witness? Who is your target audience? How do you articulate who Jesus is daily? How can I make my witness more authentic? Which territory will you cover? How can we reach more territory? I’m new in ministry, can you mentor me? The Holy Spirit led me to minister about ____. What about you? I don’t feel as comfortable addressing these biblical principles; can you help me? I get nervous when I have to ____; can you help me? How do you align everything you do with the message, “the kingdom of heaven is at hand?” We’re stronger together. Period. So we have to stop allowing the quarrels within us and the external enemy to separate us. Forgive offenses, heal inwardly, and team up for the kingdom. It’s much too serious and urgent in the world for competitiveness, suspicion, and envy IN THE BODY. We aren’t ignorant of the devil’s devices. Let’s pray for each other. Let’s love each other. Let’s help each other. Flaws and all. Let’s compete for soul winning “together” – friendly, loving, kingdom-minded competition only IN THE BODY. Dr.J.

“World Peace in an Oxymoron” by Dr.J.

The government is trying to establish world peace and world order; It obviously hasn’t read the Book of Revelation. Believers don’t be deceived. Our role is to establish the kingdom of God (Thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven) not world order and world peace. Satan has limited dominion but power nonetheless on the earth. He is the prince of this world. This world is not our home. How can world peace be established if everyone in the world hasn’t accepted Jesus Christ? Be alert believers. Dr.J.

Matthew‬ ‭10:34-39‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to ‘set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’; and ‘a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’ He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”

“Get to the Church” by Dr.J.

Get up and get to the Word today. You’ve been battling all week long. Get to church and get to the Word of God on today. The enemy has already convinced someone that they can stay home and get the Word on your own. The devil is the great deceiver. Get up. Go to church where there will be praising, worshipping, fellowship, believers on one accord, laying of hands, healing, confessions spoken over your life, prayer, and a preached word from the mighty man or woman of God. Get to the sanctuary today. Dr.J.

“You Can Have This Old World” by Dr.J.

Exactly what is it about this world that you love so much and for which you are willing to lose your soul?

Is it the illicit sex which threatens our very earthly existence with incurable diseases and deadly diseases? Is it a man who won’t commit who has multiple partners in the same area code that we choose over God? Or maybe it’s the desire for money, fame, and worldly promotion that we choose over an eternal life with God? Possibly, it’s our lust for the same sex that God has judged so harshly before in two cities etched in the historical crevices of our spirits? Maybe it’s the wars, killing, senseless violence and injustice that cause us to choose the world as our dwelling place? Is it the government or the educational system whereby Satan has strategically set up spirits of oppression and sabotage to annihilate specific people? Clubbing? Parties? Vacationing? Slaving on a job? What is it that you stand to gain here in a dying world?

I don’t know what it is about this world for some of us. I just know that for me, there is nothing or no one here to make me lose my soul.  Wake up people of God. Our God is as much a God of judgment as He is One of love. Truly accept Jesus now before it’s too late. Dr.J.

“Fall Face Down On the Ground” by Dr.J.

How are leaders supposed to respond to plotters, evil doers, and conspirators coming against them? Fall face down on the ground. Proclaim what the Lord will do for you, and have faith in what you know about God.

Moses, a surrendered man of God, had three church leaders to plot against him. It only took three divisive men in the church to gather 250 other esteemed church members to incite a rebellion. It is important to note that God had already blessed these men with leadership positions and because of their inability to control the works of the flesh (jealousy, envy, division, and dissension) they rebelled against the surrendered man of God.

When Moses discovered the plot, he immediately fell face down on the ground. This is so deep. Moses shows his reliance on God to direct him through this situation. He is prostrate before God. He shows humility and self-control. He even shows his haters respect by falling on his face.

How do we as surrendered men and women of God respond to conflict? Do we with confidence and faith in God say, “God will take care of you in the morning? I may be down on my face now, but in the morning God will get the vengeance.” Are you confident that God won’t even allow these evil doers to enter into His presence? Leaders, when people come against you, don’t panic; don’t fear; and don’t retaliate. God will take care of them in the morning. Dr.J.

Numbers‬ ‭16:1-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “One day Korah son of Izhar, a descendant of Kohath son of Levi, conspired with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On son of Peleth, from the tribe of Reuben. They incited a rebellion against Moses, along with 250 other leaders of the community, all prominent members of the assembly. They united against Moses and Aaron and said, ‘You have gone too far! The whole community of Israel has been set apart by the LORD, and he is with all of us. What right do you have to act as though you are greater than the rest of the LORD’s people?’ When Moses heard what they were saying, he fell face down on the ground. Then he said to Korah and his followers, ‘Tomorrow morning the LORD will show us who belongs to him and who is holy. The LORD will allow only those whom he selects to enter his own presence.'”

“Unity in the Body of Christ” by Dr.J.

Jesus prayed to God before His departure from the world. He prayed for complete unity. He was speaking about his disciples, us, His followers, preachers, apostles, prophets – the church.
Why does the world not understand the power of God? Because the churches and preachers operate in silos. We are not unified as Jesus intended. There is power in unity.

Are we preaching Jesus – the same message? Are we unified, not necessarily in methodology, but in our theological discourse? Do we unite regularly and consistently but informally to divide truth? Do we have the same agenda? Are we competing and vying for personal glory?

The world laughs at us and says, why will I follow Jesus when His current followers are disjointed? We have to tear down walls within and externally. Are we operating in silos or in unity? Jesus prayed for our unity and for God’s power to be known through our unity. The impact of the church in the world relies on our unity in Christ. Dr.J.

John 17:23 NIV I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
