“Will You Pray or Turn Them Away?” by Dr.J.

God will cause those who have wronged you to come to you with a sacrificial offering. Not only that but if they don’t obey God when He sends them to apologize to you or bless you or make their wrongs right, His wrath will be upon them.

Job‬ ‭42:7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “And so it was, after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has.”

The part about these verses in the Job 42:7-8 that really blesses me is that God knew how Job would respond to his friends who betrayed him. God told Job’s friends to go and take a sacrifice to Job for the wrong things they said to him. Then God said that Job would pray for them. That is powerful.  Some of us say “I’m done” when people do us wrong. We say “I’ll forgive but I will never forget.” When people who have wronged you come to you in repentance, will you pray or turn them away? God already knows your heart so if “turn them away” is your response, ask God to transform your heart. Ask God to help you take forgiveness to the next level and pray for those who spitefully use you. Pray for those who talk badly about you in your face or behind your back. Pray, but don’t turn them away because your blessings will be released when you pray for those who hurt you. God wants to restore you but you must forgive. Dr.J.

Job‬ ‭42:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.”

  1. Yes, I am praying for them and will continue to pray. They have never even admitted that they did the violation much less apologize for it, but I have prayed for them and cried out to Almighty God for the saving of their souls and to not let them enter eternity without Jesus Christ. I forgave a long time ago.

    1. Matthew 6:14-15 NIV For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Yes sis,we have to pray for them and continue to pray! We mess up so much when we sin against God that we can’t afford not to forgive others. I thank God for deliverance from unforgiveness. It is difficult in the flesh but the Holy Spirit helps us! God bless you sis!
