“Get Out of My Head, Satan” by Dr.J.

One of our biggest battles takes place in our minds. That is the devil’s principle battlefield. Your defense in this battle is to cast those negative contrary thoughts down out of your mind as soon as Satan plants them there. We have power and authority over our minds. We don’t have to accept thoughts in our minds that contradict what the Word of God says. If we do, we’re placing our imaginations above who God is. God is our fortress and our stronghold, not the pattern of negative thoughts in our heads.

If a thought causes worry and anxiety about your health, marriage, finances, or children, cast it down because God says do not be anxious about anything. You’re either going to think on these things – things that are praiseworthy, true, honest and of good report or you’re going to think thoughts that you’ve allowed the devil to exalt in your mind that are higher than God.

Bring those thoughts into captivity right now in Jesus name. Tell the devil you don’t have time for his mess. Tell him to stay out of your head. We can’t trust God with thoughts that contradict who God is and what God can do. Dr.J.

2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”

    1. Hey Zee! God bless you and that is a great question. Reflect on your study and prayer life. Whenever I begin to feel spiritually stagnant, I immediately reflect on those two things and usually it is because I’m not studying or praying in the way in which God has instructed me. The Holy Spirit speaks through us through God’s Word. We have to know His Word to obey His Word. Prayer is our communication with God. It draws us closer to Him and He draws closer to us. Also reflect on your giving and serving. Those are other areas of obedience that we have to consider. Reflect on your thought life. What thoughts do you allow in your mind that are counterproductive to a relationship with God? Then there are areas of sin that we have to decide to allow God to purge. Sin separates us from God. He hates it. It even causes us to shy away from Him because we know we haven’t sincerely repented of our sins and actually decided to turn. Unforgiveness in our hearts toward others draws a wedge between us and God. He requires us to forgive others as He forgives us.

Study and get closer to Him. Pray to Him. Give and serve. Think positive. Repent and let God purge you from sin. Forgive. But just love on Him and others. God loves you so much and congratulations on becoming a permanent part of the kingdom. I’m prayerful this helps. Let me know please!
