“Pivotal Point in the Fast” by Dr.J. 2016 Fast Post 26

This week marks a pivotal point in the fast. We have been with God fourteen days. If the number seven represents completion, then the number fourteen is a double portion of the completion and perfection of God. God sees our faithfulness. God sees our faith. God sees our self-control. God sees our obedience. God will reward us. The greatest reward we can ever receive from prayer and fasting is the spiritual reward. Some of you have received a prophetic word from a number of prophets. Some of you have had things you’ve prayed and fasted for for a season to finally be manifested. Some of you have achieved a level of faith and confidence in God that you’ve never felt before.

Pivotal is defined as “extremely important and affecting how something develops.” How you pray, obey, focus, and believe this week will be impactful and very important for the manifestation of your vision this week. You will begin to feel the peace of God which surpasses all understanding and that peace will transcend your heart and mind.

When Jehosophat was told that several armies were coming against him, he declared a fast. Look back at your journal. Why are you fasting? Remind yourself of the reason. You will begin to see more manifestation now. Have self-control. Have faith. Stay focused. Double the blessings are here now. Dr.J.
