The mind is a battlefield. If you think that you don’t have control over your thoughts, the enemy has lied to you and deceived you. You have power over your thoughts. This morning I literally had to fight in the spirit the negative thoughts to get them out of my head over and over moment by moment until I received God’s peace. My friend read the word aloud to me and then I read our confessions aloud. Warfare.
This is war. When you allow those crazy negative thoughts to linger in your mind, that’s half the battle in the enemy’s favor. You start to feel a spirit of heaviness and oppression when the negative thoughts linger. You start to condemn yourself. You start to doubt God and your faith gethat shaky. Tell the negative thought, “So what! What if she doesn’t come back. What if I don’t make more money. What if the disease isn’t healed. What if my child has bad grades. My God is sovereign. He is bigger than you, evil thought! So what if it happens. God has a plan for me. I will go through whatever I need to go through to be in God’s will.” When you attack the thought head on with Godfidence, you take your spiritual power back from the enemy. Don’t let Satan taunt you and torture you in your head.
We have to cast down thoughts that are higher than God. We have to think on positive things aligned with the Word. Our transformation comes from the renewing of our minds. We are to set our minds on things above. We are to avoid prideful thoughts about ourselves and think humbly. We have to fight to control our minds from sinful thoughts and desires so that God doesn’t give us over to a depraved mind.
We are in control of our thoughts through the power of the Holy Spirit and in the authority of the name of Jesus. Be mindful of what you allow in your minds. Don’t you dare believe that you have to accept thoughts from Satan. Dr.J.

Romans 1:28 NIV “Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.”
